Leitgeringer See Swimming Beach and Seebauer Campgrounds with a private beach give bathers ready access to the lake. Motorboats are not permitted on Leitgeringer See, though a boat rental business does have stand-up paddle boards, pedal boats and rowing boats available.

Next to Leitgeringer See are the Seebauer Campgrounds as well as a swimming beach with playground, WCs & showers as well as parking.

FLORA & FAUNA

Leitgeringer See features irregular contours and numerous bays. On the western side of the lake, it is abutted by the Astener Moos which, in combination with the lake itself, creates a wetland area. The lakeshore is flanked by woodlands.
