holidays by the warmest swimming lake in Upper Bavaria
Three towns on Waginger See charge a visitor’s tax: Waging am See, Taching am See and Petting. In exchange for this, you will receive a guest card. You will find an overview of all of the services included with that card listed below.
As a guest of Waging am See, which has been awarded the title of ‘State-recognised climatic health resort’ by the government of Upper Bavaria, you will receive the ‘Waginger See Guest Card’, which offers you a range of discounts or price reductions depending on the time of year. Due to the predicate authorisation, a spa fee is charged. This is retained by the landlord and charged to the municipality. The visitor's tax is calculated according to the number of days of stay. Arrival and departure days count as one day. All persons who stay in the recognised spa area without having their habitual residence there and who are offered the opportunity to use the facilities are liable to pay the contribution.
