Your holiday moment at Lake Leitgering

Lake Leitgering, situated about three kilometres north of Tittmoning, is a wonderful local recreation area. This natural swimming lake, with its mild, peat-rich water of excellent quality, is set in peaceful, idyllic surroundings and offers relaxation and fun for all ages.

Summer water fun is guaranteed in the lovely bathing area with jetties, a water slide, a diving board and a raft out on the lake. For the little ones, there is a gently sloping sandy beach for paddling with play equipment, a non-swimmer’s area and a children’s playground. You can find peace and relaxation on the large sunbathing lawns amidst mature trees. Access to the lido is barrier-free.

For sport and recreation, there are two beach volleyball courts, a football pitch and a boat hire service offering rowing boats and pedalos.
A dedicated launch point has been provided for stand-up paddleboarding. A slide leads straight into the lake.
A multi-generational play area, designed using natural materials, invites young and old alike to play and relax.

During the fishing season from 1 April to 15 October, fishing on Lake Leitgering is permitted with a state fishing licence.
Day and weekly permits are available from the Tourist Information office next to the town hall.

In winter, the lake is perfect for ice skating or curling.
